Santa Claus is coming to Oakville....
The Holiday Season has officially begun.
The excitement is buzing about Santa coming to our Town today and the kids have been making their lists and checking them twice. The festivities Saturday November 19 at 9am on Lakeshore Road and continue to Kerr Street north to Stewart Street. The Parade will delight children of all ages with beautifully decorated theme floats and live marching bands.
Santa will be collecting wish lists from children along the Oakville Parade route. Mrs.Claus will be selecting the winner of the Annual Kid's Colouring Contest.
Please remember those in need and bring an unwrapped toy as the Oakville Fire Fighters will be graciously collecting them on route.
The fun continous with the screening of the all time Christmas Classic - A Christmas Story. Join in on the fun at the Encore Cinemas at either 11:30, 1:45 or 4:00pm. Please bring a donation to supprot the Oak park Neighbourhood Centre's Food Drive. Items accepted will be cash donation, non-perishable food items and grocery gift cards.
Fill your thermos with Hot Coca and bundle up warmly as Santa is coming to Town... See you there!
